Non-CHF button rifled barrels will begin to open up at 3k rounds and really start to drop at 6K rounds, so a couple weekend courses where 1,000 ammo boxes are required will run down a non-CHF barrel in 2-3 years.My other AR's are lightweight chromelined barrels, tomorrow my BCM BFH 16" lightweight middy will be here .
