Anyway, I am looking to buy my first O/U and have found an Ithaca 500 12 ga. I really like. It has a gold trigger, really nice engraving and pretty decent wood. It is in probably 95% condition. I have done several searches and from what I've found, the value of this gun should be around $550-750.Sep 2, 2016 · The older SKB O/U's are fine shotguns. Anything tighter than Modified steel is NOT OK. Usually just a ring will occur around an inch from the muzzle, but I have seen much worse happen.
