On hot days (temps in 90's plus), my Jeep would overheat while driving regardless of speed. Higher speeds didn't help cool it off. In older vehicles that had questionable cooling fans, you could just drive 50-60 and the airflow through radiator was enough to keep your engine happy. Not so in the JK. Maybe not even as hot as the right rear (not overheating) drum. That tells me 100% that it is a problem related to that wheel only, as the front brakes do 70% or so of the braking effort, so most of the heat energy should be in them. X2, that problem is typically caused by a bad fan clutch causing the fan to not pull enough air through the radiator when you're idling/sitting still. Driving forces air through the radiator which is why yours is not overheating while driving.. G72 orange pill

Open the hood when warmed up, like when you get home from work. Get out and watch the fan, reach in and turn off the engine. A properly working fan will turn about 3-5 turns if it is properly working. This is what I read before I did the water pump/clutch change.E -fan is working n sucking in air well.
