After several years of Peloton and almost a decade before that of IRL spin classes, I decided to try power zones — if only to mix up my classes a little bit. I did the 20-min FTP test, got a 228 total output and kind of made up my zones based on perceived exertion. I think my zone 3 was around 150 watts and my zone 7 was probably 220 or so ....
